Pretoria-based The Head Office Consulting has entered into an exclusive partnership with Norway-based Training & Development firm Optimila, the largest supplier of CompTIA CDIA+ certification training and training material in Europe. The Head Office, a South African training and consulting company, will provide local training classes and training material across Africa.
"We chose The Head Office Consulting as our exclusive CDIA+ partner in Africa because of their regional experience and knowledge in document management," says Atle Skjekkeland, partner and co-founder of Optimila. "The Head Office Consulting will offer CDIA+ classes and training material all over Africa, based on the training material from @doc in the US and OPTIMILA in Europe."
"We are a young organisation in SA and this partnership complements our document industry related training portfolio perfectly," says Bart Burghgraef, founder of the company. "In today`s IT business environment with such a variety of specialised skills, it has become increasingly important that an IT professional can demonstrate his or her credibility.
"CompTIA`s CDIA+ credential signifies the highest level of professionalism and competency in the document industry. With this certificate on hand, professionals can confidently deliver document management consultancy and solutions that guarantee the highest industry standards of knowledge and expertise. In addition, it significantly enhances the credibility of the organisation they work for," he concludes.
With its roots in the document industry, the company aims to help organisations in creating new lines of business and enable industry professionals to further develop their skills. With a vast business relationship network in Sub-Saharan Africa, it also conducts market researches for international organisations to pursue business ventures on the often-untapped opportunities across the continent.
New CDIA+ FocusCDIA+ is a CompTIA certification in technologies and best practices to plan, design and specify a document imaging/management system. The following organisations are original cornerstones of the CDIA+ certification program: @doc; Bell & Howell; Canon USA; Compaq Computer; Cornerstone Imaging; Cranel; Diamond Head Software; Document Technologies; Eastman Kodak; FileNet; Fujitsu Computer Products of America; IBM; Imaging 501; IMNET Systems; Kofax Imaging Products; Lava Systems; Law Cypress Distributing Company; Lotus Development Corporation; Optical Laser; Optika Image Systems, PaperClip Software, Plasmon Data Systems, The Rheinner Group, Ricoh Corporation; TechData Corporation; and Xerox.
