Specialist laptop computer retailer, The Notebook Company, has announced the opening of rental centres in Nelspruit and Bloemfontein, adding to its recently-opened centres in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The Notebook Company, with its head offices in Pretoria, sells a wide range of brand-name laptop computers, including Mecer, IBM, Compaq, Toshiba, HP, and Acer.
The company believes laptop rentals, as well as LCD video projector rentals, are poised to become an increasingly popular option among computer users over the next few years. According to Christopher Riley, general manager of The Notebook Company, laptop rentals are now accounting for a "significant" portion of the company`s revenue. "With this growing trend, we feel it makes sense to open rental centres in the more popular business centres."
All laptop repairs are conducted from the Head Office.
Riley said management would be happy with a 15% contribution to revenue from the two new rental centres in Bloemfontein and Nelspruit.
The company is currently offering clients a free delivery service, of any new laptop purchased, to any major city centre in the country within 72 hours of the order being placed.
