Three directors at The Internet Gaming Corporation (Igaming), whose JSE listing was suspended this month because of transgressing stock exchange rules, have resigned.
The group announced at the end of last week that non-executive chairman Carlo Colombotti, CEO Stephen Lumb and non-executive director Richard Purvis had quit with immediate effect.
The JSE suspended the group`s listing early this month because it did not submit its interim financial statements by the exchange`s deadline.
It had been warned earlier that it would be suspended if it did not appoint a registered sponsor.
An analyst told ITWeb at the beginning of this month that Colombotti had resigned in June, but the company had not published a notice at the time.
Kenneth Metcalf, who has taken over from Lumb, was not in the office this morning and could not be reached for comment.
Igaming is in the process of a restructuring exercise involving Essential Beverage Holdings and Oxbridge Online, both cash shells suspended this month.
Essential and Oxbridge were to house businesses Igaming has deemed to be outside its core operations.
The Essential and Oxbridge shares were suspended because the cash shells were dormant. Cash shells must either acquire assets or be acquired within six months, according to JSE rules.
