Tier1 Research releases CRM report
A report released by New York-based independent research firm, Tier1 Research, has analysed the financial and industry implications of developments affecting public and private companies within the hosting, IT, communications and Internet sectors, says The Hosting News.
The On-Demand CRM Marketplace report provides analysis and perspective on key technology trends and developments in the SaaS market.
The report found that since SaaS can be a cost-effective delivery method for software functionality, it is rapidly gaining acceptance.
Insurers must focus on CRM
According to Finextra, a new report by independent market analyst Datamonitor says insurers can no longer afford to provide poor customer service, nor can they continue failing to understand each policyholder.
The report, "CRM In Global Insurance", concludes that in order to remain competitive and to maintain profitability, life and non-life insurers globally must expand beyond their core competency of risk management and focus on customer management.
"Without question, every insurer, no matter its size or region of operation, needs to adopt a CRM strategy in order to remain competitive today, and build for the tomorrow," says Jonathan Steiman, a financial services technology analyst with Datamonitor and the report's author.
ParkTrent implements Nobel Systems
Noble Systems Australia has been selected by ParkTrent Properties to provide contact centre automation technology to manage all of its telesales and call centre activities for its Wollongong operation, states TMCnet.
The introduction of the contact centre technology platform from Noble Systems provides a flexible, custom solution with a universal queue, built-in database, and support for a high-transaction environment.
Used primarily as an appointment setting and scheduling tool, the unified system provides a development environment that will interface with ParkTrent's existing internal applications, offering a significant performance advantage.
