Tollgrade Communications, Inc., a leader in the telecom test and management industry, announced today that they have signed an agreement with TeleSciences (Pty) Ltd to provide DSL testing solutions for deployment throughout Telkom South Africa.
The technology solution chosen for deployment includes Tollgrade`s LoopCare Test Operations Support System (OSS) and the DigiTest EDGE broadband test platform. Following an extensive evaluation and field trial process, Tollgrade`s testing technology was selected for comprehensive testing of DSL services provided to subscribers in the Republic of South Africa. Tollgrade expects to see the bulk of the benefits of these sales during 2005 and 2006.
