Topaz acquires Safe Computing

Financial providers Topaz has been acquired by Safe Computing the provider of payroll and billing application technology, states Financial Director.

Combined they will have over two hundred customers in the finance and HR sectors with an annual turnover in excess of £10 million.

The two companies have been businesses partners for years and, as a result, have overlapping customers. The company is hoping that it will be able to deliver a complete software solution to businesses in the future.

HR XCEL introduces HR tool

HR XCEL introduces HR XCEL InfoSource, a workforce communications tool designed to help mid-market companies deploy human resources and benefit solutions more effectively and efficiently, says PRWeb.

Developed in partnership with Enwisen, a provider of workforce communications tools, HR XCEL InfoSource provides personalised, searchable content in a true, 100% self- format.

The platform, which integrates with HR XCEL's other outsourcing solutions, allows HR XCEL clients to more effectively control their costs, manage benefit programs and educate employees and managers regarding resources available.

SDCCC implements UltiPro

The San Diego Convention Centre Corporation (SDCCC) has unified its human capital management processes, improved performance management practices, and streamlined talent acquisition with Ultimate Software's UltiPro, delivered through software-as-a-service, reports Market Watch.

HR executives at SDCCC sought to replace the numerous applications they had been using with an integrated solution and to deliver more sophisticated functionality than their combined vendors offered.

They wanted a single provider to contact for customer service, centralisation of all employee-related information and Web access for administrators, managers and employees.
