Torque IT now Apple authorised

IT training service provider Torque IT has been awarded Apple Authorised Training Centre status, and will offer instructor-led Apple courses from June this year at its Johannesburg and Cape Town colleges.

The courses on offer will cover the full suite of authorised OS X training as well as advanced technology and iOS development, including vendor migration and integration that extend from end-user devices such as iPad, MacBook and iMac desktops to back-end server solutions.

Torque IT technical director Carl Raath said the company was prompted to get training accreditation from Apple following feedback from its existing clients that such an offering would indeed be welcome.

“Our loyal clients have grown to trust the quality training solutions that we design and facilitate due to our repeated success in achieving defined skills development, enablement, and certification imperatives. Every member of the Torque IT team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and our comprehensive solutions offering is constantly evolving in response to our clients' training requirements,” he said.

“Our clients are now able to attend Apple training courses in our state-of-the-art training facilities that are facilitated by our team of passionate and certified instructors. Our courses feature small class sizes and each course offers hands-on experience through our Prometric accredited testing centre,” he said.

According to Raath, Apple training and certification will also be added to Torque IT's Career Campus as of next year, exposing learners to multiple technologies. “This, we believe, will enhance learners' competitive edge and improve their employability,” he said.
