The Qosmio X870 comes with the latest NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses supporting NVIDIA LightBoost technology. This allows users to watch 3D images that are up to two times brighter than they would be with conventional 3D display technologies. Plus, they allow deep immersion into 3D games through lenses that are larger than those of first-generation glasses.

This results in a wider viewing area and improved external light blocking.

Rich surround sound experience

The Qosmio X870 is equipped with powerful 2 x 2 harman/kardon stereo speakers under the harman/kardon branded speaker grills. The speakers support Slipstream technology, allowing the bass to achieve high outputs with low distortions for a powerful and vibrant sound experience. In addition, both laptops come with the SRS Premium Sound 3D audio enhancement application, which delivers a vivid surround sound experience.

Enjoying 3D on large TV screen

The Qosmio X870 is an ideal partner to any 3D-TV. Its HDMI interface makes it possible to stream 3D content stored on the laptop or on an optical disc directly to a 3D-TV, enabling users to enjoy 3D games or videos on the large TV screen.

In addition, the Qosmio X870 is able to add the third dimension to 2D content and to stream the 3D rendered film to a connected 3D-TV.

Sportive design

The red and dark silver metallic aluminium casing with a textured finish gives the Qosmio X870 true gaming machine identity. The dark silver metallic surfaces, which contrast with the bright red design of the aluminium rim as well as the large red backlit Qosmio logo, highlight its premium look and feel. Subtle lines with rounded edges create a sleek appearance. The red backlit keyboard allows for hassle-free gaming even in a dark environment.
