Toshiba Gulf FZE announces that Toshiba was awarded five honours for its products, including the Tecra R840 and R850 laptops, at the highly prestigious “red dot award: product design 2012”. The Tecra R840 and R850 laptops are currently available at major retail stores in South Africa.
Set up in 1955 by Germany's Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen - one of the oldest and most reputed design institutions in Europe - the red dot awards annually recognises best product designs from around the world.
“With more than 4 515 applications submitted for the awards from across the world this year, the competition was fierce, making the prize we received for our laptops more significant than ever,” says Richard Bosman, Head of Marketing for Toshiba Southern Africa.
The red dot award-winning Tecra R840 and R850 laptops for professionals are effective work tools with a slim, lightweight design. Packed with high-quality features, they offer a blend of innovative technologies, including the latest connectivity tools, have undergone extensive durability testing, and come in a range of configurations.
