Infobip has been shortlisted in this year's Total Telecom Africa Awards in the Best Enterprise Service category for its end-to-end messaging solution launched in South Africa last year.
This comprehensive telecoms and IP system is designed to provide unsurpassed levels of quality and technical performance in enterprise messaging.
Resulting from Infobip's two-year long work in South Africa, it allows companies to open direct SMS communication with its end-users, regardless of SMS volumes, recipient's location or mobile phone type.
It relies on an in-house developed architecture, a first of its kind in South Africa, and represents a unique technical concept on a global scale.
Other contenders for the Best Enterprise Service include Huawei, MTN Nigeria and Orange Business Services.
The Africa Awards recognise outstanding performance and innovation from the companies and individuals driving the success of the African telecoms industry. The winners will be announced on 26 May 2015.
