Towerstream selects Dimension Data

Dimension , a $3.8 billion IT solutions and services provider, has set up a contact centre for Towerstream, says Sys-con Media.

Towerstream is a fixed WiMax provider in the US, delivering high-speed, broadband to businesses of all sizes.

To meet the company's rapid market expansion goals, Dimension Data designed and built an IP-based contact centre harnessing unified communications technologies, such as VOIP and computer-telephony integration with screen pop.

KazCommertzBank implements Cisco technology

KazCommertzBank, the largest private bank in Kazakhstan, has deployed Cisco technology to help improve the quality of its 24x7 tele-banking service to customers, reports MarketWatch.

KazCommertzBank's new contact centre uses Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise and interactive voice response (IVR) solutions to support up to 30 simultaneous customer calls.

In implementing Cisco's Unified Contact Centre Enterprise solution with integrated IVR, KazCommertzBank aims to respond to customer calls in less than 20 seconds, while also reducing its per-call cost by up to 30%.

Stefanini, Salesforce.com partner

Stefanini IT Solutions and Salesforce.com have partnered to offer Salesforce CRM applications and the Force.com platform to the Latin American market, states TMCnet.

Salesforce's platform-as-a-service, Force.com, allows customers, developers and partners to create applications on-demand that offer the benefits of multiple client platforms distributed throughout the company.

Salesforce CRM applications streamline customer relationship management for sales, service, marketing, and call centre operations.
