Technology private equity and venture capital fund Treacle Venture Partners has increased its stake in JSE-listed Datacentrix to 15%.
Datacentrix announced in May that Treacle had acquired 12% of its issued shares from Sanlam for R18 million.
The move saw the appointment of Treacle partner Christoff Botha as a non-executive director of Datacentrix.
Treacle has since then been buying up further shares.
The latest acquisitions took place in two deals on 1 November, when Treacle bought 575 500 shares for a total R525 450, bringing its shareholding in Datacentrix to 15%.
It was announced last week that Treacle, whose main investors are Nedcor Limited and Nedcor Investment Bank, bought 14.5% of ERP.com for R5.8 million.
The Datacentrix share was untraded at 90c on the JSE late this morning.
