Trustlink goes for Gold!

Johannesburg, 02 Aug 2010

The status of Trustlink's service bureau as one of the leading SWIFT service bureaus globally was again confirmed recently. Following on being one of the first three SWIFT service bureaus to be awarded the "SWIFT Operational Assurance" label recently, Trustlink has now also met all the criteria for the Alliance Gold Connect label.

According to Dave Elliot, Manager: Solutions Division, obtaining this label is yet another milestone in Trustlink's commitment to remain one of the leading service bureaus globally. "Meeting the criteria for the Alliance Gold Connect label is part of Trustlink's program of Total Quality Management (TQM) and continuous improvement. We constantly strive to meet the highest certification criteria in order to ensure that we are able to maintain the high service levels that our customers demand from us."

Andre Niemand, Manager Solutions Hosting at Trustlink says: "The Alliance Connect Gold connectivity consists of two dedicated leased lines provided by two alternate service providers, Orange and AT&T. The connectivity pack allows the Trustlink service bureau to send SWIFT FIN and FileAct traffic through alternate routes, with an automated failover for redundancy. In addition, Trustlink's disaster recovery site has been upgraded to the Alliance Connect Silver criteria to ensure business continuity, even in the most disruptive operational conditions. This upgrade ensures that Trustlink not only provides its subscribers with the latest in SWIFT connectivity technology but also improves the overall resilience of connectivity to the SWIFTNet network."

The upgrade in its connectivity infrastructure is the final phase in obtaining the SWIFT Best Practice certification for Trustlink's service bureau.
