
Ultimus unveils BPM in the cloud
Ultimus, developer of business process management (BPM) software, has released three self-guided demo environments in the cloud which incorporate real-life Ultimus customer processes, states InfoTech.
According to the publication, the purpose of these 'test drives' is to showcase various aspects of the Ultimus BPM Suite. Officials with Ultimus say the first is referred to as the “Ultimus test drive” and is designed to provide a full end user experience.
It gives an introduction to the benefits of process automation through a purchase request process.
BonitaSoft BPM in download boom
BonitaSoft, the provider of open source BPM solutions, says it surpassed 500 000 downloads of Bonita Open Solution, the company's open source BPM suite, writes PR Canada.
This significant milestone comes less than a year after BonitaSoft first released Bonita Open Solution 5.0, when downloads accelerated from 1 000 to 40 000 per month.
"BonitaSoft has grown at an extraordinary rate over the past year, exceeding even our own expectations," says Miguel Valdes Faura, BonitaSoft CEO.
Telestream releases Vantage 2.0
Telestream, a provider of video trans-coding and workflow solutions, has released Vantage enterprise-class workflow design and automation software, according to Thomas Net.
Features in Vantage 2.0 include Vantage Workflow Portal, which enables creation and deployment of operator user interfaces in minutes for Web browsing video, entering metadata, and forwarding media, the publication points out.
This SDK allows customers and third-party systems to easily access and control Vantage workflows.
