UMT South Africa, South Africa's leading project, program and portfolio management services, consulting and outsourcing company, now offers a comprehensive range of project, programme and portfolio management training courses.
In March this year Fulcrum Business Solutions and UMT Portfolio Management SA merged to form UMT SA. The bringing together of these two groups created a company which is now able to deliver project, programme and portfolio management training in such a way that it leads to a better understanding of how projects can be managed at various levels. The combined list of courses offers a wider range of topics for delegates and organisations at all maturity levels. "Our list of courses starts at the Principles of Project Management, a course for beginners and runs through the Fundamentals of Portfolio Management and Project+ for more advanced training as well as offering training on EPM products from companies like Microsoft and Post Vision Technologies. We have tried to target all areas at all levels" says Dennin Smith, UMT SA's Training Manager. Interested parties can find more information about the various courses and services that UMT offers on their website. Smith adds "The UMT SA Training Institute has made a great start to the year and we have enjoyed the opportunity of offering a new set of courses to our existing customers as well as being able to offer a comprehensive training service to new clients"
In the last two months UMT SA has provided training in 11 cities in six different countries around the world and the company is excited about the prospect of future growth and the opportunity of working with customers from different backgrounds and different countries. The range of courses that they offer and the diverse list of customers that they have worked with give UMT SA a solid understanding of how different organisations manage their projects and they are able to use this knowledge to better meet the training needs of their clients.
UMT SA is in the process of opening a new training centre in Centurion that will be equipped with state of the art PCs in four new training rooms. Smith adds "This is an exciting move for us; a year ago we had one training room." When the training centre is opened in July the UMT SA Training Institute will be able to accommodate up to 44 delegates a day and will reaffirm UMT SA's position as the leading project, programme and portfolio services, consulting and outsourcing company.
