VERITAS Software and Unisys Corporation have announced that Unisys will offer VERITAS Volume Manager for Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system with Unisys enterprise servers, including the 32-processor Unisys e-@ction Enterprise Server ES7000.
The agreement builds on the companies` technology and marketing partnership to provide software and hardware solutions to mutual customers. Unisys and VERITAS Software believe customers who demand enterprise-class technology for Windows 2000 environments will benefit from increased performance and enhanced management capabilities delivered by the combination of VERITAS Volume Manager and the Unisys ES7000.
