Poynting Antennas has a range of GSM cellphone "range extender" antennas to help you overcome those typical "low signal" problems. Unfortunately the latest cellphones that are on the market do not allow for an external antenna to be linked to the cellular phone. Poynting is now proud to announce a novel new product - a universal cellphone-to-antenna adapter cable that can link ANY cellphone to an external antenna.
Modern technology not only brings along the freedom to communicate with whom you want, when you want and ease of use, but very often also its technical problems as well. Cellphones are indispensable - but only if you are able to use them.
Nobody escaped the very often "dropped calls", bad signals and low voice quality during that all important emergency, business or private phone calls. As you need a full-scale signal for operating GPRS, MMS or if you want to gain Web access via your cellphone, you can now link our cellular booster antennas with any cellphone using the new cellphone-to-antenna adaptor.
The adapter consists of a flat plastic sleeve with a 50cm cable that terminates in a FME connector. The plastic sleeve (that looks similar to a cellphone battery) encloses a device that is able to couple to the phone signal and divert it to a booster antenna thereby ensuring better cellular reception.
The sleeve of the coupler is placed against the back of any phone (see photos), irrespective of whether it has a camera or not, slide open or flip open. (The coupler is supplied with a small piece of Velcro that your can use to ensure a more secure connection to your cellphone). You then connect the other end of coupler to one of our booster antennas via the FME connector. The booster antenna can be mounted on the outside of the building and pointed to your closest cellular base station to ensure good reception.
