University includes Metastorm in curriculum
Saint Joseph's University Haub School of Business is incorporating Metastorm's software as part of its master's programme curriculum, reports ebizQ.

"Our work with Metastorm has given our students hands-on experience to solving business problems from a process-centric approach with technologies used in the real world," stated Ray Sarnacki, an MBA professor from Saint Joseph's University.
Appian gets thumbs up
Butler Group, a provider of IT research, analysis and advice, and the IT End User division of Datamonitor, have released a technology audit that positions the Appian Enterprise BPM Suite as a leader in the market, states CNN Money.
This news comes on the heels of Appian's announcement of strong market momentum for Appian Europe, including the recent selection of Appian by top European companies including Swiss Re and Crawford & Company.
The report articulates Butler Group's opinion that BPM plays an important role as an alternative to static legacy systems that are limited in their functional reach, and as a result end up as inhibitors of business innovation.
