execMobile, the leading provider of connectivity solutions for business travellers, today announced a new Unlimited Business Internet plan for use in South Africa and when roaming in a further 120 countries.
The company, which prides itself on crafting secure, low-cost alternatives to keep corporate travellers connected and mobile, will target dual SIM phones, tablets and PCs with a SIM-only option from 1 July. A global PocketWifi, compatible across all countries, will be available in Q3.
"We are thrilled to offer solutions based on our customers' feedback", says Dejay Swanepoel, Business Manager at execMobile. "Poor quality static hotel or coffee shop WiFi simply does not meet the needs of travellers who demand services like Google Maps or Uber when abroad. Global travellers require secure mobility; protected Internet access anywhere, anytime. Now, with Business Unlimited, this is possible for a fixed, predictable monthly cost."
execMobile has been providing roaming alternatives for outbound South African travellers since 2010. The company revealed it has been working with its partners abroad to reduce the cost of mobile data connectivity and offer new, innovative solutions that remove complexity and offer peace of mind to ensure travellers can arrive connected.
Swanepoel continues: "We have based our offers to the market on extensive customer feedback and research. The Business Unlimited Plan is a restricted service, not in terms of bandwidth, but in terms of the services and applications. Our business customers requested access to 100+ typical business applications like SAP, Salesforce, MS Lync, 365, VPN traffic, Skype, etc, but also Google Maps, Uber, WhatsApp, TripAdvisor and news and sport URLs. About the only thing the plan does not cover is YouTube and Facebook, although Facebook Messenger and Voice are supported, as is WhatsApp Call and Facetime to ensure users stay in touch."
execMobile's Business Internet Plan offers coverage across 32 countries in the Americas, 21 in Australasia, 46 across the EU and UK, and impressively, 17 in Middle East and Africa (including South Africa). Three more will follow shortly.
"In addition, we will fight cyber threats for you with our 'Clean Pipe', which is a feature of the plan and includes DDOS attack protection, botnet disruption, malware scanning and prevention, phishing prevention and real-time malicious traffic monitoring," continues Swanepoel. "There is no need to equip each endpoint device with anti-virus software, as the traffic is sent and inspected over our platform to equip employees with the most advanced and cost-efficient solution."
