USKO introduces Serena Software`s solution for speedy e-business

Serena Software`s latest change management solution to manage change and development across the enterprise and so accelerate e-business initiatives, eChange Man, has been introduced to the local market by South African distributor, USKO Software.

The eChange Man solution is the first product available as a result of Serena`s recent acquisition of Diamond Optimum Systems.

USKO Software`s product manager for Serena Tools, Colleen Monteith, says the combination of eChangeMan and Serena`s Change Man allows the company to offer customers an enterprise-wide change management solution across all major platforms - from the mainframe to the Web.

"As businesses are constantly changing, it is imperative that the software that runs the businesses must also change. Change Man integrates the software life-cycle to make change easier by automating the steps from development, through testing, and on to production," she says.

She further notes that eChange Man`s ability to provide robust Software Change Management (SCM) capabilities makes software development a predictable science. Furthermore, the availability of eChange Man in South Africa will accelerate USKO`s delivery of a fully integrated enterprise-wide SCM solution and realisation of Serena`s FULL.CYCLE Enterprise vision.
