Venture Computer, the sole distributor in Southern Africa for Lexmark International and Tally Printer Corporation, today announced the launch of the first phase of its New Economy business initiative with the unveiling of a new website: Venture.co.za

This website was designed to be both convenient and simple to access by both users and resellers, displaying the products and services that are available from Venture Computer while enhancing efficiency and creating tangible reductions in the cost of doing business. Orders can be placed how and when the reseller prefers, ultimately, leaving Venture open for business 366 days per year.

The website has been designed with the look and feel of a "typical" printer, with scroll bars within documents and a fun interface. Other key features include, multiple windows capability and buttons for direct access to the required information or specific areas within the site. Venture Computer`s core business is in providing printing solutions to end users. This too played a part in the design of the site, with the specific requirements of Internet printing being fully appreciated. You will find that when printing information from the new Web-site, the quick print feature will eliminate all unwanted periphery information or design elements and print only the desired information, captured proportionately onto an A4 page.

The website contains all product brochures, product catalogues, press releases, all the various printer drivers and a significant Q & A section which is likely to answer 99% of questions immediately. A much needed and pertinent feature is the substantial online technical support facility that is available, which should alleviate and resolve many, but often- trivial issues that arise from time to time. In addition to this, a call logging facility is also available.

Additionally, for channel partners, via a username and password, there is an on-line ordering capability together with information on promotional events, current special offers, special bid request forms and copies of recent advertising.
