Venture Computer, the sole Southern African distributor for Lexmark International and Tally Printer Corporation, today announced that it will exhibit both brands at Comdex 2000.
This is the first time that Venture Computer has been directly represented at a trade exhibition and underpins the high profile and quality of the forthcoming show that they perceive is evident with this event.
"With Comdex now hosting this exhibition in South Africa for the first time, we strongly believe it is necessary for us to show our presence in a big way," commented Mark Hiller, Managing Director of Venture Computer. "We will be showing a full range of printers from both these complementary manufacturers, including both impact and non-impact technologies, together with a comprehensive range of printing solutions, that will allow, for instance, corporates to understand and optimise their "total cost of printing" spend within the organisation."
"Additionally, we will be experimenting with convergence technology, for example, cell-phone to printer, as well as demonstrating the very latest in Digital Technology and Internet printing," Hiller continued.
The Venture Computer stand will show, for the first time, the complete award-winning Z-range of Inkjet printers from Lexmark (Z12 thro` to Z52), including some previously unannounced models; the comprehensive range of mono and colours laser printers from Lexmark, including the recently introduced C710; as well as the world`s fastest line printer and the world`s fastest inkjet printer, both from Tally Printer Corp.; the continuous stationery inkjet printer from Tally; and other exciting new technologies associated with the digital office.
As Venture Computer is the sole distributor for both the above brands, they are able to offer a unique focus coupled with appropriate expertise, that allows them to assist customers in making the correct printing solution decision for their particular environments and/or organisations.
