VERITAS Software appoints Smart Storage Technologies as its enterprise distributor

VERITAS Software has appointed Smart Storage Technologies, a division of Storgate Africa, as its Enterprise Distributor, following the implementation of the VPlus channel partner programme last month.

The new programme creates a more structured channel partner programme, differentiating partners from one another and creating specialised areas of focus that customers can use to select their partner of choice.

"VERITAS is a key component of Storgate Africa`s ability to provide resellers throughout South Africa with cost effective, high performance and reliable data storage and management solutions," says Bruce Patience, general manager of Storgate Africa`s software business unit.

"The certification by VERITAS of our Smart division as a VPlus Elite partner represents yet another significant milestone in a long and successful relationship that Storgate Africa has enjoyed with VERITAS over the past five years," he adds.
