VERITAS Software unites storage management customers for Veritas Vision2000 worldwide user`s conference

VERITAS Software Corporation, The Data Availability Company, today announced the opening day of VERITAS VISION2000, VERITAS Software`s fourth annual worldwide user`s conference. VERITAS Software invites its users to the weeklong conference where they will be welcomed into the storage management universe to explore the numerous facets of innovation in data availability. Throughout the conference, VERITAS Software customers will explore solutions to the growing demand for data availability through participation in technical presentations, business sessions and product demonstrations that are focused on current issues in data availability.

Mark Leslie, Chairman and CEO of VERITAS Software led the opening of the conference with a keynote address providing users visibility into the VERITAS vision of data availability. Tuesday, conference attendees may look forward to a keynote speech by Sun Microsystems President and COO Ed Zander. Additional highlights include breakout presentations from solution, business and partner tracks and a VERITAS solutions pavilion with more than 30 VERITAS partners - such as Sun Microsystems, IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Brocade Communications Systems - exhibiting the industry`s latest storage management and data availability technology and solutions. Pre-conference activities on Sunday include product tutorials taught by VERITAS Software instructors.
