VERITAS Software has announced that VERITAS Foundation Suite, the company`s storage management solution for global enterprise computing, is now available for the HP-UX 11 platform from Hewlett-Packard Company.
VERITAS Foundation Suite combines VERITAS Volume Manager, a disk and storage management solution, with VERITAS File System, a recoverable journaling file system that delivers the high availability and increased throughput required of mission-critical applications. The combination of VERITAS Volume Manager and VERITAS File System gives the HP-UX 11 platform higher levels of application availability and performance and lowers total-cost-of-ownership through integration with mission-critical applications.
