Rob Shuter, CFO and executive director of Vodacom Group, will become CEO of Vodafone Netherlands from March 2012.
The operator says a process has been initiated to identify a replacement for Shuter, as well as for independent non-executive director Tom Boardman.
Boardman stepped down from the board with effect from 30 October 2011, in light of his other commitments.
Vodafone Group commercial director Morten Lundal has also stepped down from the board, with effect from 3 November 2011, and has been replaced by Karen Witts, with effect from today.
Witts is the regional CFO of Vodafone Africa, Middle East, Asia and Asia-Pacific.
“We thank Tom and Morten for their valuable contribution to the board, and welcome Karen,” says chairman of Vodacom Group Peter Moyo.
“It is clear from these and other developments that Vodacom's relationship with Vodafone creates growth and development opportunities for the people of Vodacom.”
