Vodacom has announced a trio of data deals for its contract customers, to coincide with the festive season.
1. The first three months subscription free to customers signing any new 24-month data contract.
2. Broadband Standard MyMeg500 24-month contracts signed in December will be available for R99 per month.
3. An effective 40GB for R499 to contract subscribers - at a rate of 1.2c per MB.
The MyGig 20 once-off bundle for R499, which provides a saving of 86%, is available until 9 January on both Broadband Standard and Broadband Advanced for all contract customers. This includes an additional 20GB of Night Owl data automatically.
The “first three months' subscription free” promotion for contract and Top Up customers includes all Broadband Standard and Broadband Advanced contract options and will be in effect until 6 February.
The Broadband Standard MyMeg 500 contract at R99 per month promotion for new contracts signed in December will run until 9 January. The promotion includes 500MB of Night Owl data, giving Vodacom subscribers an effective 1GB of data for R99. The normal price of the Broadband Standard MyMeg 500 is R149 a month, giving customers a 33% discount. The Broadband Standard MyMeg 500 promotion will not qualify for the three months' free subscription promotion.
Vodacom says the “three months' free subscription” and “Broadband Standard MyMeg 500” contract promotions will not affect the runtime of any contracts purchased during the promotion period, any administration fees with the purchases of a contract as determined by the service provider (once-off SIM and connection fee), the out-of-bundle rates of the specific contract, or the monthly Night Owl allocation equal to the monthly in-bundle allocation.
