Vodacom has announced a new promotion for prepaid customers, effectively giving them an hour of talk time during peak hours for R5.
The cellphone operator yesterday announced its “Power Hour” promotion, whereby prepaid customers can get 60 minutes of talk time for R5, which can be used on the day of purchase, from 6am to 6pm on weekdays.
Power Hour, available from today until 31 July, enables customers to make multiple calls to other Vodacom customers. The operator says prepaid customers who have been active on the Vodacom network for at least 30 days, and have more than R5 in their prepaid wallets can dial *111#, select Vodacom Power Hour and follow the prompts. This will activate 60 minutes of talk time for the day, and can only be done once a day, says Vodacom.
The Power Hour promotion is available on all Vodacom prepaid price plans.
