From 8 May, Bloemfontein will benefit from the opening of Vodacom`s new Walk-In Customer Care (WICC) centre at Bloemfontein`s Mimosa Mall.
The opening of a walk-in customer care centre in Bloemfontein is another step in the realisation of the Vodacom strategy to provide meaningful, direct and accessible customer care service to all its subscribers.
Bloemfontein is a key hub within Vodacom South Africa as not only does it play home to the company`s regional office, it also services a very important stakeholder community.
Fundamentally the WICC will act as an extension of the 24/7 toll-free call centre and customers in Bloemfontein will be able to make face-to-face cellphone account and upgrade enquiries, SIM swaps, account payments plus addition or changes of value-added services.
Apart from these services, the Bloemfontein WICC will also have the ability to process any transaction or query a client could possibly have, including any 3G/HSDPA set-up, BlackBerry enquiries, laptop or cellphone pairing for Internet access, setting up of laptop e-mail accounts, assistance with cellphone banking and MMS and Internet set-up, and the like.
The Bloemfontein WICC is the fifth Vodacom customer care centre to open its doors, following Midrand - Vodaworld, Cape Town - Canal Walk, Durban - Gateway and Port Elizabeth - Greenacres. These customer care centres all have data services, although Bloemfontein is the first one to have a Vodacare and Data Centre incorporated, with the Vodashop being right next door to the WICC.
