Vroom selects PeopleSoft eCentre

Vroom Technologies, a provider of sales and marketing solutions for the telecommunications industry, has selected PeopleSoft eCentre to provide hosting services for PeopleSoft 8 pure internet Human Resources Management and Financials applications.

According to PeopleSoft South Africa MD, Jan Coetzee, small and mid-sized companies are looking to PeopleSoft eCentre to host PeopleSoft 8 pure internet applications. "PeopleSoft eCentre is designed to deliver fast and high return on investment by offering rapid deployment and management of PeopleSoft 8 pure internet applications, including Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Professional Services Automation, Human Resources Management, and Financials," he comments. "It delivers a superior customer experience through its best-in-class service level agreements, wide range of hosting terms, support for customisations, and designated account service managers."

According to Joy Godesiabois Sullins, CFO at Vroom Technologies, PeopleSoft eCentre was selected for its global functionality, scalability, and ease of use. "Positive customer references and PeopleSoft`s well-established brand were also factors in the company`s selection," she says. "Vroom chose PeopleSoft eCentre after closely evaluating hosted solutions from Oracle, J.D. Edwards, and Great Plains Software."
