Not many people know how compatible Western Digital's hard drives are with Mac computer equipment, said Shane Hutchinson, Western Digital product manager at Pinnacle Micro, the local distributor for Western Digital.
"Video producers, photographers, videographers and anyone who appreciates the sleek styling, ease-of-use and performance of a Mac will find the same attributes in Western Digital's (WD's) external hard drives - which are actually designed specifically for Mac users," said Hutchinson.
He said the sleek WD drives are designed with Mac users in mind. "All the user has to do is plug them into their Mac and they are ready for use."
All the drives are tested in Apple's and WD's laboratories to ensure compatibility with the Apple operating system and Time Machine.
