Workamajig releases update

Workamajig, a provider of software programs for ad agencies and others in the creative and design industries, has released version 10.0.0.5 of its project management software, supporting custom Flash widgets, along with updates for Apple's latest Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.4, says ThomasNet.

The upgrade follows the huge May update of the integrated Ad Agency system which converted from Creative Manager Pro to Workamajig, and included a major foundation upgrade to its Ad Agency management software, addressing interface improvements based on months of research, client interviews and user feedback.

While most of the improvements are in Flash, all of the improvements are the direct result of many years of research and direct client feedback from users of the Creative Management Software.

Advisicon and Safran have developed a formal partnership which allows Advisicon to serve as a designated Safran Authorised Reseller, reports Market Watch.

This allows Advisicon, recognised for project and portfolio management consulting and training, to add another tool to its range of technology solutions.

This partnership will leverage Safran's expertise, specifically in the oil and gas and construction industries, while advancing the overall application of project management globally.

Bamboo Solutions made headlines a couple of months ago when it released information on how to run SharePoint on a Vista box, states Information Week.

The company is also a well known vendor of plug-in modules intended to enhance SharePoint's base functionality.

Bamboo has recently bundled together three sets of the modules, termed Web Parts, into packages directed at supporting certain needs: the Bamboo Project Management Suite, the Bamboo Administration Suite, and the Bamboo Ultimate Suite.
