New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, the world`s largest IT training company, is to deploy the entire Click2learn Aspen Productivity Suite to create, deliver and manage its ground-breaking Integrated Learning programme.
Click2learn`s solutions are exclusively distributed in SA by Learning Resources. This solution will power New Horizons` Integrated Learning programme in over 270 centres in 49 countries, with the potential to reach more than 15 million corporate and individual users.
"As a global training company, New Horizons` success depends on reaching millions of users worldwide with a powerful offering. A learning technology that we can rely on as the backbone for our Integrated Learning strategy is critical for us," says Jess Hartmann, New Horizons CIO and VP.
"We believe Aspen is the most scalable, comprehensive offering on the market and we are confident it can meet the demands of such a large audience. Click2learn is an ideal supplier that will help New Horizons build a flexible and adaptive learning management system which is critical to providing comprehensive Integrated Learning solutions."
New Horizons Integrated Learning is a comprehensive approach to training that guides each learner through all stages of the learning lifecycle. Consisting of multiple methods of training, from classroom to e-learning, the learning experience is supported by a range of products and services that assess, reinforce, support and validate the transfer of knowledge.
To manage the different elements of the Integrated Learning programme over the past few years, New Horizons implemented multiple, disparate systems, which ultimately proved to be unwieldy. Through Aspen, New Horizons will provide a single, unified point of access for learners and knowledge workers, managers, instructors and administrators across all of its target audiences, including business accounts, small-to-medium businesses and individual end-user consumers.
"New Horizons` need for a large-scale, global solution was a perfect fit for the power, functionality and scalability of the Aspen suite," says Norman Auerbach, business development manager at Learning Resources. "Through the strategic use of Aspen, Click2learn will help New Horizons to provide a superior product to customers worldwide."
