Wrike unveils PM for Yahoo

On-demand online project management company Wrike has unveiled a free application for My Yahoo users that is reported to allow them to work on tasks and projects together in real-time, reports TMCnet.

Wrike's Simple Projects is the first My Yahoo app that lets users keep track of changes made in projects by their friends, company officials said.

Wrike Simple Projects allegedly lets anyone who has a personal My Yahoo page create and assign tasks, organise tasks into projects, invite people to work on projects together and keep track of changes.

Projecturf offers unlimited PM storage

Projecturf is entering the project management fray, offering unlimited storage, collaboration and communication tracking, aiming to provide the speediest project capabilities out there, states SD Times.

Projecturf is geared toward Web developers, including .NET, PHP and Ruby developers, as well as Web application developers.

According to company executives, developers using Projecturf can set up a project team and create tasks in minutes.

Customer acceptance key to PM

Customer acceptance on projects is essential, according to Method123, providers of online project management templates, says Sys-Con Media.

Making sure the customer is completely happy is imperative, says Jason Westland, CEO of Method123 online project management solutions.

"Projects always have customers whether they're internal or external - the project has been initiated to deliver a solution for them," he says. "And because of this they need to have a thorough understanding of what is being done and what is going to be delivered to them."
