Xantium Technology Holdings has raised R5 million through its latest share placement, which took place yesterday.

The group says the 10 million shares offered at 50c per share in terms of the placement were subscribed for in full.

Xantium had already raised about R9.5 million through previous private placements.

It is set to list its shares on the JSE's alternative exchange, AltX, on Friday morning. The shares will trade under the abbreviated name Xantium and the JSE code XAN.

Xantium, operating through three subsidiaries, is a black-empowered full-service IT company providing IT infrastructure, services and solutions to clients in the public and private sectors.

The company is chaired by former North West premier Popo Molefe.
