Xerox Channels Group`s (XCG) latest offering, the Document WorkCentre XE84, is an affordable all-in-one digital laser printer and copier solution for businesses and small workgroups with high-quality document processing needs.
Harnessing Xerox` digital printing and copying technology to provide fast and crisp reproduction of graphics, photographs and text, the XE84 offers up to 8ppm (pages per minute) Windows laser printing in 1800x600dpi (dots per inch), and 6 copies per minute in a 600x600dpi high-quality laser resolution.
"With its enhanced paper-handling capabilities, the device can print on virtually any media type (from A6 to A4) including paper, envelopes, transparencies, labels and greeting cards, and has a 200-sheet paper output tray," says Angie Samuel, marketing manager at XCG.
Samuel says the copier offers advanced copying functionality typically found only on high-end models. "The copier boasts a zoom reduction and enlargement of 50 to 200 percent in 1 percent increments, as well as five presets that are user-programmable.
"Additional features include multi-copy (up to 50), exposure mode control of text and photographs, and contrast control."
Designed to lower the total cost of ownership associated with office equipment, the printer/copier has separate drum and toner cartridges, allowing users to optimise supply usage by replacing only what they use. With a toner saver mode enabled, businesses can save up to 30 percent on toner usage.
