With the closure of Siltek looking unavoidable, the Notebook Company (www.notebook.co.za) has announced it is able to repair most faults and supply spare parts for Xylo laptops.
Clients can go online to www.notebook.co.za and order a repair online, or phone the nationwide number 0860-128 128 The repairs, however, will not be covered by the Siltek/Xylo warranty.
"This is a service for users that don`t have anywhere to have their machines fixed," said Chris Riley, general manager of The Notebook Company. "There is also a small collection and detailed fault analyses fee."
The Notebook Company sells and supports a range of laptops, including IBM, Mecer, Toshiba, Acer, HP, Compaq and Asus.
