Yale implements KNOVA

Yale University will implement Consona's KNOVA knowledge management solution as part of an overall effort to more efficiently IT and related administrative functions across the university, reports PRWeb.

Yale plans to complete the integration between the KNOVA solution and an IT infrastructure library (ITIL) compliant service management tool set this fiscal year.

"The KNOVA knowledge management solution supports ITIL best-practices, particularly in the areas of incident and problem management," said Tim Hines, VP of product management for Consona CRM.

Carlson selects Salesforce

Carlson has improved its operations and increased productivity of staff in 40 countries by implementing Salesforce software as a service (SaaS) CRM and Force.com platform as a service (PaaS), reports CNNMoney.

With the help of salesforce.com partner Ben Nevis, Carlson has deployed Salesforce across five of its operating groups, including Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Carlson Marketing Worldwide, Carlson Leisure Group and Regent Luxury Group.

The company also leveraged the Force.com platform and AppExchange to develop a customised solution that met its unique business requirements and served the needs of Carlson's Salesforce users around the globe.

Calabrio, Activeo partner

Calabrio, a vendor of software for IP-based contact centres, has signed an agreement with Activeo, a French CRM and contact centre vendor in EMEA to resell Calabrio's workforce optimisation products, states TMCnet.

Activeo will offer Calabrio Workforce Management and Calabrio Quality Management products as part of its Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise offering.

Activeo will also offer full support services for the Calabrio products. These include installation, design, troubleshooting and professional services.
