Zenith Africa was formed early in 2004, resulting from a relationship forged between Zenith India and members of the Presidential Delegation to India during 2003 to distribute the complete range of Zenith computers in Africa. Zenith Africa is a subsidiary company within the ICS Group.
Zenith is appointing a reseller network throughout Africa to take this exciting product range to the market.
Senior directors of Zenith Computers in India visited SA during September to launch their products to the reseller base in the South African market. The interest and response from resellers have been extremely positive with a number of resellers already appointed.
Support for Zenith systems will be contracted to Independent Computer Support Services (I-CSS). I-CSS has its head office and main repair centre in Midrand, Johannesburg, and branches in Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein.
Exel has been appointed by ICS Group to handle all aspects of warehousing and distribution of the products on behalf of Zenith Africa.
Kyle Pillay, Director of New Business Development at Zenith Africa, said: "The aim of Zenith Africa is to become a leading provider of high quality and affordable branded computer hardware throughout the African continent. As a new entrant in a very competitive market, we will focus on being competitive in terms of price, but more importantly we will focus on the provision of exceptional support and service."
Zenith Africa will appoint resellers throughout SA to take the newly launched product to market. The next phase of the launch will include the appointment of resellers to take Zenith into the rest of the African continent.
