Zensar wins Oracle UK Partner Award for Emerging Business Application, receives accolades for customer success and commitment to excellence

Pune, India, 02 Apr 2009

Zensar Technologies, the leading global technology and business process company, has been awarded the Emerging Business Applications Award for 2009 at the Oracle UK Partner Awards ceremony, held recently in London. Oracle recognised Zensar's continued success in delivering innovative solutions and for providing value to its customers using Oracle Applications and Technology.

Alan Hartwell, Vice-President - Technology Solutions and Channels, Oracle UK, said: “I would like congratulate Zensar for its achievements in demonstrating truly innovative solutions, and for thinking outside the box to bring true business value for customers. The Oracle Partner Network strives to provide support, services and expertise that help our partners succeed, and Zensar has leveraged these elements to accelerate its business. We are proud to be involved with Zensar and wish them the greatest success for the future.”

The company has also seen a surge in its Enterprise Applications business and has added 50 new customers to its oracle business. In the US, the company has built success stories through Greenfield projects using Oracle Business Accelerators, which have been leveraged for faster implementation of enterprise applications and optimisation of costs.

Nitin Parab, Executive Vice-President and Head, Enterprise Application Services (EAS), Zensar Technologies, said: “With over 1 000 Oracle professionals and significant names in its client list, the company is truly poised to be a Tier 1 player in the Oracle space. The Emerging Business Applications Award by Oracle is a validation of our sustained efforts towards providing business excellence to our customers. We have a strategic partnership with Oracle and this further strengthens our relationship.”

Despite current market situations, Zensar has successfully expanded its global presence this year and has added over 120 new customers to its portfolio to build a strong presence in key markets of US, Europe, Middle East, with enhanced focus on the India and the Asia Pacific regions. With the global economic order that is changing every day, the company has also launched an innovative service called 'Impact Sourcing' for its global customers facing pressures on cost and revenue. This highly focused offering will help clients in the current recession to formulate and implement strategies to achieve maximum value for their IT investments through optimisation across the organisation. The service is being simultaneously offered in the USA, Europe, Japan and India and the company expects to garner over 40 million USD of new business through this innovative service, in the next 10 months.
