ZTE, a leading global mobile device maker, today at Campus Party launched the ZTE Blade V6 with carrier partner Telcel. The ZTE Blade V6 is the first ever mobile phone to launch at Campus Party, where it was revealed to 'Campuseros' (hackers, developers, gamers and geeks) at an exclusive launch event.

The ZTE Blade V6 is the latest and thinnest device in ZTE's affordable premium Blade series, and was first unveiled last week at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015 (announced as the 'Blade D6'). At the Campus Party launch event, young and excited Campuseros were able to network with each other and test out the new Blade V6 in the innovative "ZTE Drone Zone".

The ZTE Blade V6 will be available both as pay-as-you-go and on all Telcel plans.

Following its launch in Mexico, the Blade V6 will be made available in Spain, Germany, Russia, Australia and Japan in the second half of this year.
