ZTE today officially launched its new Grand Series Smartphones - the ZTE Grand S and ZTE Grand Memo - in Russia; the first country outside of China to sell the flagship smartphones.
Combining attractive design with high efficiency, the flagship phones feature powerful quad-core processors running at 1.5GHz as well as a 13MP camera capable of capturing HD video.
In addition to the Grand S and Grand Memo, two more smartphones were introduced: the ZTE Grand X Quad, designed for a younger audience, and the Dual-SIM card smartphone, the ZTE V880H - a helpful device for those looking to juggle professional and personal calls.
The new smartphones have already gained positive attention at mobile conferences around the world. For instance, both the Grand S and Grand Memo garnered favourable reviews from the world's top mobile experts at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Further, the Grand S has also been celebrated at the iF Design Awards 2013.
The Grand Series phones feature ZTE Mifavor UI, a new user interface for easy navigation. For instance, thanks to the ZTE Mifavor UI, one can operate a Grand Memo, featuring a 5.7-inch display, with only one hand.
The Grand S also features a large display, which allows the user to enjoy watching films with subtitles or browse the Internet without having to enlarge specific parts of the pages. All the displays support HD.
Another attractive feature of the new phones is the battery life. The new quad-core processor allows for the phone to consume less energy and thus extend battery life - up to 400 hours in standby mode in the case of the Grand Memo. The quad-core processor has also helped enhance the user experience for quicker video playback, games and browsing.
One particular feature of the new Grand Series smartphones, which has attracted a lot of attention, is their design. Users will enjoy the elegant and impressive design of the Grand S and Grand Memo, as well as the slightly futuristic look of the V880H, which includes a curved back cover that makes it comfortable to hold.
According to Ding Haomin, Vice-President of ZTE Corporation, the launch of the Grand Series smartphones in Russia, particularly the Grand S and Grand Memo, signals a new era for ZTE and its growing relationship with Russian customers.
