In addition to its technologically advanced functionalities, an XML-based software development kit is available to support many features and functionalities and application integration has been made easier with the Zebra developed ZMotif software platform.
The ZXP series 8 offers an array of options for smart card encoding and networking that provide suitability for applications such as high security ID cards, drivers' licences, gift and financial cards.
The remarkable ability to print on uneven card surfaces, non-PVC cards such as polycarbonate and biopolymer cards as well as durable and abrasion resistant cards, together with the modular design of this product, makes it a future-proof solution for professional ID card printing.
Users can also add on a variety of encoding modules for additional ID functionality if required. Available configurations for the Zebra ZXP series 8 include single or dual-sided printing and lamination, magnetic strip encoding and USB or Ethernet connectivity.
The distinguishing feature of the ZXP series 8 lies in its ability to deliver superior print resolutions for high quality ID cards with graphics and images that resemble glossy magazine prints. This is done at extremely high speed with a production of up to 190 cards per hour.
