Zycus releases latest offering

Zycus, a provider of spend management solutions, has unveiled Zycus iContract, a contract management solution designed for sourcing and professionals, says Business Wire.

“As the global recession continues to challenge top-line revenue growth, procurement leaders are being called upon to defend their enterprise's bottom line,” says Andrew Bartolini, vice-president of global supply management research at Aberdeen Group. “Aberdeen research has shown that enterprises save, on average, 22% of every dollar of spend that is contract compliant.”

iContract provides real-time monitoring, proactive alerting, and robust search capabilities that provide intelligent tracking of contract and utilisation across the contract lifecycle.

Xhead = Contract management gets £3m boost

The software development company 8over8 in Derry, Northern Island, is to invest almost £3 million (R42.1 million) to bolster its commercial management, software development resource and marketing initiatives to double international sales, reports The Derry Journal.

The company sells more than 90% of its licences for contract management software to customers outside Northern Ireland.

The new investment will support 29 new jobs, according to Leslie Morrison, Invest NI chief executive: “This strategic investment in management and marketing will enable 8over8 to further strengthen its presence in the Middle East and North American regions. It will help secure new business in these key oil and gas markets for ProCon, 8over8's leading-edge contract-management software solution.”

I-many partners with CSC

I-many, a provider of contract management software and services for the enterprise, is teaming with CSC, an IT services provider, to help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies prepare for Medicare Part D compliance audits, states The Earth Times.

I-many's Contract Management Suite for Life Sciences includes the software necessary to produce National Council for Prescription Drug Programs' standard reconciliation file data, inclusive of adjustments and reversals.

CSC has been named an iPlatinum Partner and a certified provider of I-many's Validata software.
