Audi AG to use SN supercomputer for crash-test simulation
Audi AG is using the VPP300E supercomputer from Siemens Nixdorf to simulate and optimise the behavior of vehicle bodywork in crash situations. With 16 processors, a main memory of 32GB and computing performance reaching 40 GFLOPS, the VPP300E system is among the most powerful supercomputers in the automotive industry in Europe.
