FTI launches 'Crafting Effective User Stories' with Ronak Sanghavi

Johannesburg, 11 May 2018

Faculty Training Institute (FTI) has launched the first virtual short course in its innovation series. Delivered in partnership with Value Base from India, "Crafting Effective User Stories" is online and facilitator-led by international thought leader, Ronak Sanghavi, starting on 28 May 2018.

"Crafting Effective User Stories" is a highly engaging online Webinar training series designed to help you develop successful user stories more collaboratively and give you the skills to implement the most appropriate requirements workflow.

This highly anticipated course is suitable for product owners and managers, business and systems analysts, functional consultants, scrum masters, as well as any other professionals who contribute to agile requirements. Once completed, you'll be in a position to write unambiguous, easy-to-understand user stories and acceptance criteria, suggest optimal requirements workflow on a project, leverage collaborative mental models to craft user stories, and use JIRA to manage user stories, among other skills.

These skills are taught through the use of virtual, Webinar training sessions by Sanghavi, who has personally trained and coached over 2 000 individuals, including college graduates, IT professionals, and experienced business analysts.

Sanghavi is not only a certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) and Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), but boasts an impressive 21 years' experience in IT-enabled business solutions, 16 years' experience in business analysis, agile, consulting, project management, and change management, as well as eight years' experience in business analysis and agile training and coaching.

Most notably, Sanghavi is passionate about improving the business analysis and agility-related competencies of all practitioners. To date, he has established a three-level BA certification framework and developed an integrated case-study based catalogue of 40 training modules to be delivered in classrooms and on e-learning platforms. Moreover, as a seasoned practitioner and thought leader in business analysis and team agility, he is an avid international speaker at various BA conferences and forums.

The online series, delivered by an exceptional industry leader, is set to expose students to an optimal blend of concepts, activities, and class discussions. FTI has also included the option for delegates to complete post-training assessments to determine their level of knowledge retention. This feature will ensure maximum value is extracted from the course.

This is yet another example of FTI's unique approach to training business analysts and project managers in the IT space. Although the course is online, FTI still offers the same rich and immersive learning experience its delegates have come to expect from the company.
