IT distributor Axiz has proved to be a value-add industry leader. It was the clear winner at the annual Channelwise Awards, walking away with a whopping seven out of the nine category awards, including the highly coveted Distributor of the Year award. Resellers named Axiz their top distributor in several categories, including servers, storage, networking, end-user devices, software, components and accessories, and cloud computing.
The Channelwise Awards pay tribute to and celebrate the year's top-performing vendors and distributors, as voted by the IT channel itself. More than 1 000 resellers vote for the various candidates, indicating the consensus of the market towards the chosen nominees and winners.
The awards, which faced fierce competition from distributors across the region, also recognise the hard work of the South African channel community, acknowledging significant commitment and achievement, and highlighting outstanding performance in certain areas.

The annual Channelwise Awards, now in its eighth year, positions itself as SA's leading barometer on exactly how resellers view and collaborate with their various distributor partners and vendors.
The awards are influenced by resellers, who nominate the products, solutions and programmes that best suit their needs. In addition, resellers rate the service they receive from their suppliers, helping vendors and distributors assess how well they are doing in several areas.
The results of the awards are independently verified and audited, and are an accurate indicator of which distributors are best matching their channel partners' expectations and satisfying their needs.
The annual awards recognise the vendors and distributors who best met the needs of their reseller partners through various indicators such as logistics, credit availability, ease of doing business and specific enablement capabilities aimed at making the channels' lives just that little bit easier.
