ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a leading provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the mobile Internet, has won Best 5G Solution Award at Selular Awards 2019, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This award recognises ZTE’s efforts to introduce 5G in the early stages and commitment to establishing cooperation in developing 5G technologies with leading operators in Indonesia.

According to Uday Rayana, CEO and Editor in Chief of Selular Media Network, ZTE has established its leadership in 5G by investing heavily in 5G standardisation and product research and development, so as to produce insight into 5G technology.

"This achievement shows ZTE's leadership in developing and utilising new technologies that offer significant customer value," Uday said. With a complete product portfolio, commitment to continuous innovation, and a track record of successful commercialisation of new technologies, ZTE becomes a vendor of choice in the future deployment of 5G infrastructure for a compelling reason, Uday added.

"We are very pleased to receive Best 5G Solution Award from Selular, as it can consolidate our position in Indonesia, one of the most important markets for ZTE. We will continue to provide our customers in Indonesia with innovative and high-quality solutions to embrace the upcoming 5G era,” said Kevin Fang, Deputy Marketing Director of ZTE Indonesia.

"ZTE expects to work with industry partners, so as to actively promote 5G business applications and practices, and to facilitate the digital transformation in vertical industries."
