Falcon Electronics is proud to introduce a new addition to its ATEN Professional AV product line: the VE814 HDMI Extender implements state-of-the-art extension technology to extend ultra HD 4kx2k (four times the resolution of 1080p) video up to 100 meters (350 feet) using only one Cat 5e cable. The VE814 is designed for conference centres, corporate training facilities, schools and other environments that need to distribute multimedia content.
Unlike the length limitation of standard HDMI cables, the VE814 is capable of delivering high-quality video to dual displays over distance, enabling the HDMI displays to be located up to 100 meters away from the HDMI source device. With the state-of-the-art extension technology, this is made possible using only one Cat 5e cable, which is inexpensive and can be easily installed. In addition, high-quality video can be cost-effectively streamed using up to three HDMI displays - dual displays connected to the VE814R and another one to the VE814T.
The VE814 includes a built-in Ethernet pass-through port for Internet connectivity, making it easy to access and integrate the Web when necessary. With bidirectional IR functionality, it provides a convenient way to control HDMI source devices from the remote unit while also granting access to the HDMI display device from the local unit. Furthermore, the RS-232 serial connection means the VE814 can be ideally integrated with serial devices and control systems.
Fully supporting HDMI (3D, Deep Colour), HDCP-compatible content and resolutions of up to ultra HD 4kx2k and 1080p Full HD, the VE814 ensures a superior audio and video experience. In addition, the VE814's ''EDID Expert'' technology selects the optimum EDID settings for smooth power-up and highest-quality display.
