Quintica unveils ITIL Foundation E-Learning training course

Johannesburg, 11 Apr 2013

Customers looking to fast-track their employees' path to ITIL without having time out of the office in order to achieve this, can now benefit from Quintica's ITIL Foundation E-Learning training.

Quintica has answered customers' demands for ITIL Foundation training as well as addressed the concerns of customers who are worried about a drop in productivity as a result of time out of the office, with the launch of the new e-learning offering.

According to Kerry Evans, managing director at Quintica, the benefits of taking the course online are numerous: "Attendees can now take the course at their own pace anywhere in the world, as they have 90 days to complete it. What is more is that managers can also track the progress of their staff to ensure that KPIs and training requirements are being met."

While trainees are afforded 90 days to complete the online course, they will still be able to complete it in the three days a physical course takes, should they wish to dedicate the time to it. Participants of the online course also benefit from having access to a Quintica trainer from a mentorship point of view by way of the system's live chat component, as well as a next-day response e-mail offering.

In order to make the training a reality, Quintica has partnered with Netcampus to deliver the course material to customers. Further benefits of this partnership include the fact that through this collaborative learning platform, Quintica customers now also have access to the full range of Netcampus training modules and certifications. Certifications include: Microsoft, Adobe, BSi, Certified Business Professional, Cisco, Comp TIA, DVT and Sun Microsystems.

"While we have developed the courseware and the material for our ITIL Foundation course, Netcampus plays a pivotal role in assisting us with the delivery of this material by way of its reputable and stable online educational platform. It is the stability of this established platform that played a major factor in Quintica selecting Netcampus as its partner in this endeavour," adds Evans.

"By using the online learning platform, users will be able to register and access their courseware anytime and from anywhere, unleashing the world of accredited and reputable content," adds Dawn Hollingworth, Managing Director of Netcampus.

In addition to the online Web-based training, the Quintica team is also able to offer onsite simulation courses that provide customers a one-day practical workshop by which to test the knowledge of their employees on ITIL methodologies, as well as track the success of the online ITIL Foundation course.
